These are for my parents, non-Christian friends and foreign friends.
I put Words on it. It said "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:11) Wish they know Jesus Christ has been born to them as their Savior and accept it as their faith.

Christmas Cards of 2010
..
On 2010, I bought colorful and beautiful craft paper, lovely cutie punches and a Big-Shot. When I saw a Big-Shot at the first time in Canada, I thought I would NOT buy this one because it was expensive and its collectable embossing folders and cutting dies let me pay lots of money to purchase them. It costs almost US $100.00 and it is want to-have-it item for craft people. Even though I decided not to buy a Big-Shot at the first encounter with it, unfortunately I bought it and also purchased SOME embossing folders. :)
You will see how they work together beautifully to make my Chrismas Cards of 2010.

Christmas Cards of 2009
I got same book from my friend, Eunmi and my sister, Hyunkang. They gave me a book titled "How to make a pop-up card" as a gift when I visited them in Korea. I loved to learn and try a new skill of card making so I made this lovely Christmas pop-up cards.
When you open this card, you will see a poping-up and standing snowman.

Get Well Soon, YJ!

.....
Yangjung is my brother-in-law. He is husband of my older sister, Hyunkang. He is kind and humorous so I like him.

He got some therapies, kind of surgery on last November because he had a slipped disc. I heard it was very painful. I would love to encourge and comfort him. Kept thinking what was the best idea to do it.........

Ta-da!
Look at what I have done for him!

It is my first card to make as a Get Well Soon one. Green is my favorite color these days. Green means a new life in Spring to me. That's why a litte hedgehog is holding a green balloon. You can see green everywhere on the card, can't you?

Hope this card bring new fresh energy and health to Yangjung!!

Happy Birthday, my Mother-in-law :)

...

This is a birthday card for my mother-in-law. I would love to use my new butterfly embossing die cut for her.

It was very simple but it took a little bit long time for me to design it. Someone says she can make a card in just 5 minutes but I am not that kind of person. :( Card making needs to take time for me but I enjoy it: thinking of the person who will be glad to get this card, matching different colors and shapes, putting my time, energy, care and love altogether for him/her.

My mother-in-law's birthday is November 19th (on Lunar calendar). It was the first time for me to celebrate it with her in Korea. I wanted to do something special for her. So my husband and I planned to prepare a birthday dinner for her. She has just 2 sons, not any daughter. It would be the first exprience and surprise for her to have dinner prepared by her children. I cooked a spicy hot seafood rice-noodle soup, thin fried fish, and Choongmoo-Kimbaap. My husband Chulyoung was a big help for me. I couldn't imagine to do it all without him! Making special birthday cake was another surprise but she didn't have an oven at home. My husband bought beautiful and delicious cake. It was a fresh fruit cake with cream. I hope we will enjoy a homemade cake when she visits at my place in the future.
She loved my card, a fruit cake and dinner for her. Even seafood rice-noodle soup was overcooked and tasted not good but she finished her all dish for me. Thanks, mom! I love you! Happy birthday to you again!

Thank you, Lord for giving me this nice mother-in-law!

Happy Birthday to my beloved family!!

.
I would love to remember my lovely handmade birthday cards for my family.
These cards were made for my family on 2011.
.
This is one for my Grandpa-in-law.
His birthday is November 14th (which is same as October 19th on Lunar calendar.) We held a special big gathering to celebrate his birthday. I've got this idea from someone's blog but I forgot where it was from. Sorry, original designer! :(
..
This is one for my father-in-law.
(His birthday is October 28th on Lunar calendar)
This card is not from my own idea. I copied this design and idea from Annabelle and Andrea's blog which I often stop by to get some new idea.

This is one for my mom.

Sadly I couldn't be with my mom on her birthday. My husband and I visited my parents to celebrate my father's birthday on the week before her birthday. It was a little bit hard for me to make secend visit right after a long trip to Seoul where my parents have lived. But I didn't want to miss my family tradition of birthday. I prepared this card with my love and gave it to her when I visited her on Christmas week.

This is one for my oldest sister, Hyunjung.

Her birthday is December 26th. My family celebrated it on Christmas because HJ was so busy at work on her birthday. I had to stay with my parents-in-law on Christmas this year so I couldn't make it again on family gathering. Gratefully I could visit my family the week after Christmas and I was able to enjoy happy meal with Hyunjung. We could celebrate her belated birthday together.

I got idea for this card from the sketch below.
